Supporting women to heal from attachment wounds and traumatic events, and move towards a more joyful life with greater self-acceptance and better relationships

A space to begin to feel more like yourself

You might look like you’re managing.

Holding things together at work, in friendships, in family life. But underneath, it can feel very different. There may be a sense of feeling stuck. A tendency towards rumination or regret. Patterns in relationships that feel familiar but difficult to shift.

From where I sit as a psychotherapist and counsellor, this often makes sense when we understand your history.

I work with women who are navigating the impact of childhood wounds, attachment issues, and complex trauma. My approach combines talk therapy with body based therapy, including somatic therapy and nervous system regulation, so we’re not only understanding what’s happening, but gently supporting your system to feel safer.

Areas I can support you with

You may be noticing this in different parts of your life.

Unhealthy relationships that seem to repeat themselves. Anxiety that keeps your system on edge. Low self-worth that sits quietly underneath everything. Or feeling emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who you are.

There may also be social anxiety or a fear of intimacy. Sleep difficulties. Or finding yourself caught in cycles of rumination that feel hard to step out of.

In our work together, we begin to understand how these patterns developed, and how they are connected to earlier experiences.

Using approaches such as Lifespan Integration and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), we work with both mind and body. This supports nervous system regulation and helps you move away from harmful coping mechanisms and towards a life that feels more meaningful and aligned.

How I work

My approach is integrative and person centred.

I draw on Lifespan Integration, somatic therapy and mindfulness. This allows us to work with complex trauma in a way that feels manageable.

Our sessions will feel relaxed and natural. You can say what you want and be yourself. We work at your pace. You won’t be pushed to explore anything before you’re ready. I think of therapy as something we do together. I trust in your ability to heal, and I’ll be alongside you, gently guiding when it feels right.

A big part of our work is helping your nervous system begin to understand that the past is over, so that change can happen without feeling overwhelming.

Taking the next step

Reaching out can feel daunting

Especially if you’re used to managing things on your own or if therapy hasn’t helped in the past. We can go gently.

I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation so we can meet and see whether this feels like the right fit for you. There’s no pressure, just space to talk and ask any questions you may have.

If it feels right, you’re very welcome to get in touch.
